Lacation

Pension Falconi *** is situated just a few minutes walk from Karlovo Square, where you can admire the Kolín town hall, which comprises two buildings. The older building, also known as “Kolerovský”, has been used as a town hall since 1494. The newer building formerly housed an inn and later barracks.

Just a short walk from the guest house, you will also find the old Jewish cemetery where a number of famous Jewish personalities, including a number of rabbis, are buried. If you head to the other side, you cannot miss the local château which has been undergoing rehabilitation work since the year 2000 and is expected to receive a new façade in 2017. The neighbouring brewery is also worth mentioning. And then there is Kmoch’s Island, mere minutes away from our guest house on foot, appearing like a paradise in the middle of the town. From here, it is just a stone’s throw to Borky forest park, which houses several sports facilities.
